Dari Jabir bin Abdullah r.a katanya:”Rumah kami jauh dari masjid. Kerana itu kami ingin membeli rumah yang dekat dengan masjid. Tetapi Rasulullah s.a.w melarang kami, sabdanya:”Untuk setiap langkah yang kamu langkahkan ke masjid, kamu mendapat imbalan satu darjat.”

Huraian

Setiap anggota badan harus digunakan atau dimanfaatkan untuk melakukan ketaatan kepada Allah S.W.T. Contohnya berjalan kaki untuk melaksanakan solat berjamaah lima waktu di masjid, menunaikan haji ke Baitullah, manakala bagi yang mampu, berjihad fi sabilillah dan lain-lainnya. Sesungguhnya setiap kali dalam mengerjakan ibadah kerana Allah, semakin bertambah kesulitan maka semakin bertambahlah pahalanya.
