Duck-billed dinosaur amazes scientists
An undated artist's rendering of the duck-billed dinosaur Gryposaurus monumentensis, which roamed southern Utah 75 million years ago, shows the robust jaws that allowed this creature to eat just about any vegetation it came across. The bipedal herbivorous dinosaur measured about 30 feet (9.1 meters) long. This is the fourth recognized species of Gryposaurus, and the discovery sheds light on what was going on in this part of North America about 10 million years before the dinosaurs went extinct.
